This moose found the only green nearby after all that snow melted. Our backyard neighbor's lawn was quite an attraction for local moose for a few days, until everything started to bud.
Shad went on another black bear hunt this year. But the only thing that he baited was this grizzly bear that kept stealing his bait. Shad never got to see it in person, and he wouldn't have been able to kill it if he had. Only because it's illegal to shoot brown bears near bait.

Its so crazy to me how close you are to all these huge animals. Camping in Yellowstone was scary and here you are with moose on your streets and in your yards. Guess it was necessary to bring more of the man out in Shad. Let him have some fun in his short life. :)
