Rick and Kasey Roberts came to visit us. All the way from Alaska via Louisville (Rick was at school there, Kasey came to visit him, and we talked them into coming farther down to Alabama). We decided they needed to see the Gulf of Mexico and we did too. So we all crammed into the minivan with 4 kids and a 2 week old and we drove the 3 hours to the beach. SO WORTH IT! Orange Beach is amazing, it's beautiful, its exhilarating, its enchanting, the trip was too short.
We stayed one night at a hotel on the beach and the next day enjoyed the pool and waves and perfect temperatures. On the way back to Montgomery we stopped at a restaurant called Lambert's. It was so fun, making it even more fun was Kasey, she laughed and giggled at everything. She is a very fun traveling companion. She reminds you that life is to be enjoyed and new experiences are fun memories in the making. I grinned just watching her. I love good friends.
